Introducing

A pastel-themed website and a pink blazer, who is this guy?

 

I'm Kieran - a creative marketing specialist and brand leader based in London that loves work (and clothing it seems) that stands out and gets people talking. Because it's never been harder to cut-through the advertising and AI noise as it is today. 

 

​I graduated from the University of Sussex (via a short stint on exchange at the University of Miami) with a BA with Hons. in Film & Media, and have spent the last 15 years solving chunky marketing and business problems for a range of major clients. 

​

I spent 12 of those years honing my craft at two fantastic agencies, before hopping the fence to go brand-side in the gaming world at Sports Interactive, as Head of Brand & Marketing for Football Manager. You can read more about that below.

 

When I'm not working, I'm a husband and dad to two toddler boys. I'm a big sports fan; I avidly follow Brentford FC / Miami Dolphins and enjoy films and exploring new tech/AI. ​​

Head of Brand & Marketing

As Head of Brand & Marketing at SI, I led the brand, social, PR & Content teams, driving the strategic direction for all marketing output across the studio and beloved Football Manager series. 

My role saw me translate strategies into actionable plans and content, liaising with key external agencies, licensors and partners (Apple, Netflix & Microsoft) alongside parent company SEGA, for all marketing initiatives, leading a team of 13 with 6 senior reports.

My tenure at SI has seen the launch of the title's first-ever partnerships with the Premier League and FIFA-e, as well as a new brand identity and content strategy as the product moves into a new era with the release of FM26.

Creativity & Innovation Director

At OMD I was responsible for driving the creative agenda across the agency, with a focus on awards and media innovation for both clients and new business prospects. 

My role saw me regularly constructing and presenting bold strategies and out of the box ideas to senior stakeholders, overseeing the process from concept to delivery, ensuring a strategic and creative red-thread throughout.

I also ran internal and external workshops, upskilling attendees on creative ideation techniques and sharing emerging trends & technologies to democratise creative thinking.

Media Planning & Strategy

I started my marketing career at Publicis on their Graduate Scheme, moving around the business to understand how each specialist area worked (Print, TV, Digital, SEO, Search, etc.) before finding a home in Planning. 

Grew from Grad to Associate Director in 4 years on the agency's largest account (Samsung). My role shifted into a hybrid Planning & Strategy role which encapsulated full-funnel, 360 campaign strategy and annual planning, budgeting, reporting, thought leadership and line management of several direct reports dedicated to various clients.
